Our 10am service is a traditional Anglican service of Holy Eucharist, which means we celebrate how bread and wine become holy things and a way for us to encounter God’s presence in tangible elements. We believe that the Holy Spirit, or presence of Christ, enters in to the bread and wine and that when we stretch out our hands to receive the bread and wine, we stretch out our hands to receive Jesus into our lives. We pray that we are transformed by the power and beauty of Jesus’ love active in the world through our choices and behaviours in our daily life. Music and prayer are important parts of worship at St. George’s, and you will experience the beauty of both of these things as you worship here.
