In addition to their potential to enrich community and aid in spiritual contemplation and exploration, art hives have the capacity to enhance our creativity in many realms of our lives. As art therapist Carolyn Mehlomakulu asserts, making art can help us express things we might not have words for, deepen our self-understanding, prompt us to look at things from a new perspective, and allow us to experience a new way of being.
