Service for All Saints Day will be held Sunday, November 2nd.

Service of Rememberance will be held Sunday November 9th.

CHOIR:

Our worship is greatly assisted by members of the choir, who lead the congregation and prepare anthems, especially for key festivals and seasons. Practices are held on Sunday mornings. All are invited to join the choir, no experience or audition is required.

CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES:

Sunday School: Classes are held from September to May for children from about ages 3 years to Grade 6. We have a hands-on-program where each lesson has an activity (craft or game) that will help bring the Biblical Stories to life.

Nursery: For the little tots, we have a fully equipped nursery.

Confirmation Classes: We address the basics of Christian faith in the Anglican tradition. Adults who wish to be confirmed may prefer to meet with the Rector for some private lessons and discussion.

Dinner and Diego: A group of students, professionals, parents, and anyone else who feels young at heart meet on Thursday evenings at 6pm for dinner, discussions on faith and prayer. Children eat with us and watch ‘Diego’ and then they leave to go and play during a parent focused discussion. We are currently doing a Bible Study on How to Grow Your Mates Self Esteem.

ADULT ACTIVITES

Seasonal Bible Study: Our next Bible study will begin in September and we will be looking at the historical and anthropological information surrounding Jesus' disiciples. Please join us on Tuesdays at 1:30pm for tea, cookies and fellowship. Each day is another lesson, so you are never too late to join!

Dragons Group: meets every once in awhile for a lunch and fellowship after the 10am service.

Altar Guild: The Altar Guild is a group that provides an invaluable behind the scene ministry. They are responsible for the preparation and cleaning of the vessels for communion, for arranging flowers and decorating for major festivals.

Gabriel's Reel Film Club: This group meets about every six weeks to see a movie followed by refreshments and discussion at a hosts home. This past year we went to movies and plays that had deep issues that we could discuss in great length. Please call for more information.

We will be watching The Kite Runner on November 7th at 7:30pm.

Lecture Series: We encourage various speakers to come and talk on numerous topics. This past year we had a number of professionals join us for discussions surrounding Judaism, Islam and Christianity. This year we plan to have a series on down-to-earth outreach initiatives presented by parishioners.
